Bahareh Miri

Professional Collaboration | Cabin ANNA | 2023 – 2026

As an Architect and Project Manager at Cabin ANNA, Bahareh played a central role in the technical development and realization of high-end prefabricated cabins, specifically contributing to the ANNA Beetle and Double ANNA models. Her work focused on bridging the gap between design ambition and production reality, ensuring that these sustainable, millimetric-precision structures could be manufactured, transported, and assembled globally.

Bahareh managed the complex logistics of the modular system, which consists of thousands of interlocking components requiring near-zero tolerance. She developed project schedules, aligned production capacities with lead times, and coordinated closely with engineers and factories to refine structural details. A significant part of her role involved supervising full-scale test-builds, where she verified assembly logic, resolved discrepancies, and optimized construction sequences to ensure efficient on-site delivery.

For the ANNA Beetle, a compact iteration of the system, Bahareh led the interior development and prototyping phases. She evaluated material behavior under various climatic conditions and refined the assembly logic to maintain the cabin's functional flexibility.

For the Double ANNA, commissioned for a site in Hawaii, she managed the adaptation of the system to meet specific client needs and coastal building standards. This involved close collaboration with local architects to ensure regulatory compliance and the integration of environmental features, such as bird-safe glazing. Bahareh coordinated the translation of these requirements into a cohesive spatial strategy, maintaining the integrity of the ANNA system while delivering a bespoke solution for the client.
