NEO Sportpark is a comprehensive development in Brussels comprising six buildings with diverse functions, designed to integrate sporting facilities harmoniously into a public park. A collaborative effort with OSKAR, OMGEVING, ARA, and Witteveen+Bos, the project includes the new offices for the Belgian Olympic Committee and the Royal Archers, alongside the expansion of an existing sports hall.
Bahareh was involved in the project from the Preliminary Design through the Definitive Design phases, contributing to the architectural development, coordination, and documentation across all six buildings. The project was fully executed in Revit, where Bahareh managed the architectural drawings, prepared material statements for cost calculations, and led coordination with structural engineers, building physics consultants, and landscape designers to ensure seamless integration.
A key technical contribution was the design of the complex façade systems. Bahareh utilized Rhino.Inside.Revit to generate algorithmic patterns for the façade panels on two of the primary buildings. During the definitive design stage, she collaborated directly with Reynaers Aluminium to evaluate construction solutions, ensuring the proposed parametric geometry was technically feasible and integrated with the broader architectural vision.
